An idyllic paradise awaits you

Where in Mozambique

On the east coast of Africa, Mozambique stands out as an exceptional destination where untouched nature and cultural authenticity exist in perfect harmony. Along a vast and still largely unspoiled coastline, serene landscapes unfold, where small fishing villages coexist with discreet retreats seamlessly integrated into the natural surroundings. Here, time slows down, inviting visitors to discover ancestral traditions, genuine flavours, and a profound connection with the sea.

Praia da Barra reveals itself as a hidden paradise, with soft sandy beaches and warm, gently rolling waters, where the deep blue of the Indian Ocean stretches endlessly toward the horizon. A tranquil and captivating setting, ideal for moments of reflection, well-being, and connection with nature.

For a smooth and informed journey, Mozambique, located in Southern Africa, uses the Metical as its official currency, although US dollars are widely accepted. Portuguese is the official language, reflecting the country’s cultural heritage, alongside a rich diversity of local languages. The tropical climate ensures pleasant temperatures throughout the year, with the dry season, from May to October, being particularly favourable for travel.

The time zone is GMT+1. The region is considered a malaria area, and preventive measures are recommended according to individual medical advice. For added comfort, accommodations are fitted with mosquito nets, and regular fogging is carried out. Mobile network coverage is generally reliable, allowing guests to stay connected when needed.
